Trujillito Farms is a group of Honduran entrepreneurs based in Tegucigalpa. Despite the many challenges that our country faces, we believe the good earth is rich and can provide for everyone. The hope is that this will allow us to bring some of the change we want to see in our country. Everything we grow is certified organic. We grow fresh market native produce, as well as raw plant materials for our extracts, like our prized exotic Swa oil.
Swa is the miskito name for the Carapa Guianensis tree. The oil is extracted from the seeds through a sustainable, laborious process done by miskito women from la biosfera del Rio Platano natural reserve.
